For the record, both parties were wrong. Irving should have expected a reaction for stomping on the Boston Celtic especially as a former member of the team. And the young man arrested for throwing the bottle should have had enough sense to realize he could have hurt someone and not necessarily the person who he intended . . . either way if it’s not in self-defense, hurting someone is not acceptable.
The Celtics fan was obviously classless for throwing the bottle, and should be banned from the Garden … and Kyrie was classless for stomping on the Celtics logo.
Both need to grow up.
