As one can see from the photos, both snakes could be confused one for the other. JJ Watts may have felt wimpy for calling for help, but sometimes it is better to feel wimpy and be safe than take an unnecessary risk which could turn out fatal.

Watt could have had a false sense of manhood, tried to handle it himself, gotten bit and possibly missed a portion of the season. Instead, he accepted the knowledge he was given and humbled himself enough to ask for help. While he may have ended up feeling foolish, what he did was no where close to being foolish.

When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom.~Proverbs 11:2

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.~Proverbs 1:7

Where there is strife, there is pride, but wisdom is found in those who take advice.~Proverbs 13:10
